The Republic Sienar Systems T.I.E. was one of the first TIE-style fighters to be manufactured. Like later models, it has twin ion engines, no shields, and is only large enough to hold a single pilot. Its solitary weapon is a double blaster cannon, and it is a somewhat slow craft, with a speed comparable to a Y-wing Starfighter.
